Ajit Ranade

Dr. Ajit Ranade is Chief Economist with the Aditya Birla Group, a multinational conglomerate with a footprint in more than 25 countries. His career has spanned both academic and corporate assignments, engaging with the RBI, Planning Commission, CII and the World Bank. He is a regular contributor to the financial press and an occasional contributor to Fundamatics. He is the recipient of both the Distinguished Alumnus award and the Distinguished Service Award. He is also a former Chairman, of IITBAA, and a member of the Advisory Council of IIT Bombay. Ajit is also the founder of an NGO called the Association for Democratic Reforms.
