Deepak lives in Seattle, where he spends his time running a bunch of compute services for Amazon Web Services (AWS) chasing a four year old, and recording music on more synthisers than anyone needs. He spent two eventful years at IIT-Bombay (H6) doing a MSc in Chemistry. While there he was actively involved in such notable activities as organizing Livewire and guzzling coffee at coffee shack. After IIT he did a PhD in theoretical chemistry from Syracuse, and worked at several bioinformatics and scientific software companies before joining AWS in 2008.
